I just started playing this game and I'm already hooked. I only just got to the part where I woke up in the strange bedroom and I'm just wondering who are the romancable characters in the game? Since it wasn't stated in the description, can someone please list them for me? Thanks! Looking forward to completing this game multiple times! 😊 It seems so interesting.
Yes! I felt his eventual late night confession gave very Mr. Darcy vibes. He struggles for weeks longer than all the other LIs to accept and interpret his feelings for the MC. He was already going against a lot of his ingrained values by helping a Human commit treason, therefore his brain took a lot longer to process his affection for said human. Then its like his panic over MCs safety finally hit him with the realization brick. Since he can also have zero chill sometimes, he needed to talk to MC Immediately about those feelings.
I would give Vadeyn the world, dear GOD. Boy, am I simping hard for this cinnamon roll gentleman. I really enjoyed the game and the story was amazing! (Honestly, I really wanted to say, "flip this!" and go live in a cottage in the woods with Vadeyn when things started to get....frustratingly annoying)
Gonna play Haron's route next because I'm a sucker for any and all cinnamon roll, golden retriever, warm and fuzzy ball of sunshine~
I have played through every single route (and Haron's twice lol) and I am absolutely in love with this game. The world is so interesting, and the characters are so unique and likable. Highly recommend!!!

Try Ballads at Midnight! Another free game, only one love interest, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and found that it satiated my voracious appetite for another Ebon Light game just a bit.
Have you tried The Hero's Journey? It's pretty long and the story is great. If you like Ebon light, there is a high chance that you'd like the hero's journey too.

I just got through my first playthough of it and I have to say it was beautiful. The plot was surprisingly eventful with a lot of turns, and even if I got confused at some points the game made it easy enough to understand. I am also grateful for how many save slots there were LOL.
I played this before I got an account here and REALLY enjoyed it! I was rather taken with most of the LIs (Laceaga and Ernol were my favs by far, with Vadeyn and Duliae not doing much for me). The story is heavily affected by your choices and which LI you are pursuing, so every playthrough is entirely unique and interesting! I really felt like my choices were fleshing out the personality of my character and the relationship with the LI. Seriously, kudos guys, this is one of the best Otome-type games I've played in a long time.
To be fair, I have one gripe. Some of the CGs look a bit off/awkward, but with it being a free game, I honestly didn't even what to mention it. The in-game art is incredibly pleasing to me and that's 90% of it, so who cares about a few CGs?!
I just finished my first play-through! I was so torn between Haron and Ernol. In the end I went with Haron, he’s a bundle of light of his own. I was pleasantly surprised to be taken in by the unabashed affection. The choices you make in this game have legit consequences HAHA. I would know, I’ve made some stupid deaths. I’m so happy I got to experience this world! I wish there was more of it. I’m just about ready to dive back in again on another play-through. Thank you for this game, I hope you’re well <3
This is a GxB otome meant for the female protag. I've played every LI route, played being accepting of the power or rejecting it, and seen every ending.
The only downside is that the power wasn't explored enough. There's lots of room where it can be expanded. Maybe there's a sequel in the works?
It's one of the better VN out there, honestly. The replayability is pretty decent, with different flavour texts, so there's something new to read. The art doesn't have that "wow" factor, but it's still lovely.

New to this community. Pursues Visual Novels for contents and storytelling twists. This is a gem! I love what I've seen so far. Never before have I experienced the female journey to this extent, in a traditional fantasy world. Not always can you choose what to do. But you can choose (maybe) how it's done. If your're on it, enough. Lesson well learned. And thank you, for a beautiful story

The art is lovely, the plot pleasantly twisty, the heroine engaging and dynamic, Calipoa is a delight, and Ernol is an absolutely scrumptious little grumpcake. Stunning work all around; thank you for creating such a beautiful game!
I haven't played a VN as immersive as Ebon Light in a really long time. The world building is mind boggling & had me greedy for wanting more. I particularly loved the banter between characters. I would rewind choices just to see different character dialogue. This game is so good y'all. Give it a shot.
The Only note I can think to give, is that this game is wayyyy too short for the story it's trying to tell. The romances happen too fast-- all except Ernol and Vadeyn for the most part, as you can get together right before the climax and your flirtations with them are a bit more subtle until the love confessions happen.
I think the only real problem this game has, is its length. There are some errors in the grammar, spelling and some words are missing but really I can ignore that. The story itself is interesting but nothing ever gets explained. Even at the end, like these other people in the comments, I'm entirely confused.
Are the Cutinah like from another dimension or something? What's going on there?
I know this games' themes are kind of dark, but we could've had at least a bit of explanation for what's going on. Characters we could've met-- like the person we bought our dress from.
She could've lamented that the situation in Gha'alia was bad and for what reasons while we were getting dressed and you could've learned more about the political situation.
Then, if you'd decided to go to the people to become popular, there could've been this whole series of scenes in which you talk to different civilians, finding out what they love and hate about living in Gha'alia. Figure out what the real problems are.
And to the Cuthintal, you could've found out whether or not the Cutinah were actually a threat or not-- and then made an entirely informed decision on whether or not to be selfish and live your life or lock yourself away for the sake of everyone you love.
I feel like I know nothing and like the romances were just a bit too fast. Those are really the only issues I have.
Otherwise, I liked the characters, I liked their interactions and their many different issues with each other, I just didn't get to see enough of it, you know?
Loved this game! All of the love interests were so interesting. I wish Chandler was a love interest though, I found him to be so cute! I look forward to any future games by you.

I expected to do Laceaga on my first playthrough but then i saw Ernol a few times and apparently I'm a sucker for emotionally challenged pessimists.
